Saline REmoval

Saline removal is a non-laser form of permanent makeup/tattoo removal. It’s a significantly more gentle and less expensive than traditional removal methods. It’s done with the same tools that we use to create brows, lips and eyeliner, but instead of placing ink into the skin, we’re implanting a saline solution (a blend of salt & purified water). What this does is dissolves and lifts pigment out of the skin to lighten your permanent makeup.

The question is... who can benefit from saline removal?

  • Clients who are looking to redo their old permanent makeup, but need them to be lighter to do so.

  • Clients who have had permanent makeup done that they are unhappy with.

  • Client’s whose permanent makeup has aged into a dark & unnatural tone.

  • While saline removal can be uncomfortable, we take as many precautions as we can to make you as comfortable as possible. This includes numbing prior to the procedure & using tools during to minimize the pain.

  • While there is no need for downtime after your appointment, it is best for clients to plan their appointments around life events to ensure you’re fully healed by the time it roles around. Give yourself two weeks after your appointment just to be safe.

  • If you or anyone you know is in this situation, emergency removal is an option. It’s a form of removal that can be done with in 72 hours of the initial appointment that tends to remove 70-100% of the pigment that was implanted. Please contact us as soon as possible so we can review your case, even if you’re just thinking about it. Due to this being a time sensitive, we’d rather help you make an informed decision rather than waiting until its too late.

  • Each session of saline removal is $150, please contact us for rates regarding emergency removal.

  • We do not perform any permanent makeup on anyone who is pregnant due to unknown risks and complications associated with the application.

It is best to wait at least 9-12 months after pregnancy & at least 5 months after stopping breastfeeding to get any permanent makeup done. It’s important to allow your hormones to level out for the best healed result.
